Sodium sulfate is a salt produced by the chemical combination of sulfate and sodium ions, with the chemical formula Na₂SO₄. Sodium sulfate is soluble in water, and most of its solutions are neutral, and it is soluble in glycerol but insoluble in ethanol. Inorganic compounds, high purity, fine particles of anhydrous material is called metamizan. Metamucil, white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystals or powder, hygroscopic. The shape is colorless, transparent, large crystals or small granular crystals. Sodium sulfate is easy to absorb water when exposed to air, forming sodium sulfate decahydrate, also known as mannite, alkaline. Mainly used in the manufacture of water glass, glass, porcelain enamel, pulp, cooling mixer, detergent, desiccant, dye diluent, analytical reagents, pharmaceuticals, feed and so on.
